For card contributions, your first payout is held for 10 business days to clear, and all subsequent payments can be be available to send as soon as business 10 days.

Is there a transaction fee?

Hitchd offers its own credit card processing solution with a blended rate that ensures your guests don't need to pay any conversion fees or international credit card rates - one flat fee for everyone, everywhere. You have complete control over the fee structure - you can pay 0% by having your guests absorb the fee, 2.49% by splitting it with your guests, or 4.98% by absorbing it entirely yourself.

Will my guests think it's tacky?

Times have changed. Contributing to your honeymoon fund makes guests feel like they're contributing to something meaningful, and guests can even personalize their cash contribution with a personalized message to wish you on your way.

Who can contribute to my registry?

Anyone who you share your registry with who has a valid Visa, Mastercard, or AMEX. If you have international guests, their contributions will automatically be converted to the currency of your registry.

We support most major international currencies, with more added regularly. You can set the currency of your registry before launching it live.
